Scarborough Beach Pool

Fantastic facilities and a great pool for smashing out the laps Only gripe is water 28.7deg is far too warm for training. Should be around 25-26.

Great place to swim, clean changing rooms. However there are issues. If you plan of walking then the exercise walking lane isn’t very long. Also isn’t anywhere for kids to swim. They have a kiddie pool, and then the main pool. The main pool is while obviously maned by lifeguards, is deep so if the child is not a strong swimmer and they are too old to play in the kiddie pool but not confident to play in deep water then this is not the pool for them. The main swimming pool is taken up with swimming lanes, lessons or other. I would suggest going to a swimming centre where you would have bit more variety in pools for those that are not confident swimmers. If you are confident can not fault it! But for the reasons above is the reason for the score.

What a treat. Beautiful place fun for all. The west coast has more beach’s and things for you to see and do than you can count. There are bike tracks, restaurants and amazing beaches.

This is an Awesome pool! It has Salt water, and ocean views :)Expect them to ask you to be out of the water 10-15 min before closing time, so plan your work out accordingly :)I train here during the day and night. Love it!

A jewel in the heart of Scarborough beach. The 50/25m lap pool is geothermaly heated to 27 degrees so it's perfect year round, water has always looked crystal clear. It does get busy after 4pm and between the squad and lessons, a large number of lanes are reserved.

This swimming pool is conveniently located in the heart of Scarborough. The place is clean, with a shade over the kid pool. If you have toddlers or older kids, it is a must try place!

It was a bit disappointing, I was led to believe that the pool was going to be built as a local community spot that would be accessible to all and free. Unfortunately it is fenced away looks nothing like it does in the pictures and comes at a cost.

Scarborough beach pool is a beautiful pool.This is a great place for year round swimming, with the water kept really warm and the opening hours being so convenient, open early and closing late.The reception area is staffed by very friendly people who explain things with ease and talk you through memberships and details very smoothly.There is also a great little shop area in reception that stocks swim suits, goggles and other goods.Downside is that the water is partially chlorinated. But other than that it is good.

Amazing outdoor pool to visit at Scarborough Beach! There’s actually two separate pools—a larger pool for lap swimming that is shaped like an “L” and has BOTH 25m and 50m lanes (what a concept!), and a warmer, shallow, wading pool that is great for relaxing after you exercise. Some of the pics on google reviews are outdated, bc the shallow pool is now mostly covered by a beautiful shade structure.We came here to swim when we visited Scarborough Beach bc the ocean water was a lil too cold (and windy), plus we were afraid of the sharks!The lap pool is a saltwater pool and heated (on the upper side of your usual lap swimming pool), spotlessly clean, and well organized with different lanes for different speeds. The staff and other swimmers all seemed friendly and respectful. There are lockers available for rent, but most people just kept their bags outside on the pool deck.Great place to go swimming! Def worth the visit if you’re in town.
